About Us
Group Leisure is a monthly magazine, available in both print and online e-magazine editions, for group travel organisers. First launched in March 1995 it is published by Yandell Publishing (part of the Yandell Media Group), an independent family company based in Milton Keynes. The aim of the specialist travel magazine is to provide ideas, contacts and advice for people organising all types of coach tours, group trips and group holidays. Be it a retired group, a party of friends, a sports & social club, or any form of special interest group, here at Group Leisure we aim to inspire with more pages and a modern format that is as enjoyable as it is useful.
The magazine is available free to qualifying group travel organisers (GTOs) via post. Readers can also opt to just receive the e-magazine each month, or both. Travel Exhibitions & Events
The biggest two days for group travel each year take place in September. The annual Group Leisure & Travel Trade Show (GLTT) at the NEC Birmingham gives GTOs hundreds of exhibitors ready and eager to help and advise with all sorts of group travel planning. It allows organisers to see so many people in a short space of time and deal with the experts face-to-face. Exhibiting companies also enjoy the benefit of a targeted, high quality audience with huge spending potential.
The annual readers’ choice awards ceremony celebrates the best, as voted for by Group Leisure readers. Taking place at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole on the first night of the GLTT, the black-tie Group Leisure Awards dinner and ceremony offers the ultimate accolades and the biggest party.
