What is The Excellence Award?

Launched in 2008, the award seeks to recognise outstanding service to group travel organisers by individuals within the group travel trade and is a part of the Group Leisure Awards.

We look to shine the spotlight on those who work for and with GTOs, from tour operators, theatres, hotels, coach companies, attractions, tourist boards, ticketing companies, associations, etc.

How it works

If group travel organisers have worked with someone in the travel trade who they believe deserves recognition, based on the service they have received as a GTO, we ask them to make their nomination through the pages of Group Leisure magazine or online here at groupleisure.com. The nomination should be backed up with a brief explaination as to why you have chosen that person.
