Group Travel Organiser of the Year® Award Nomination Form
The Group Travel Organiser of the Year® Award recognises a individual who makes a real difference to the lives of other people.
You can nominate someone or yourself for this year's award using the form below. With a first prize of £1,750 to use on a familiarisation holiday of the winner's choice, it's well worth it.
Previous winners and finalists for this award have stood out for their first-class group organising skills, as well as their genuine enthusiasm, group travel knowledge, creativity, a passion for travel, and a willingness to explore new options for their group, problem solving and lots more.
How does the award work?
- Nominations can be made using the form below or via the pages of Group Leisure magazine (April and May editions).
- All nominees receive a questionnaire so we can find out more about them and their group travel organising.
- A shortlist of four people is drawn up who then attend the final in front of an expert judging panel, before a winner is decided upon.
- The four finalists will be exclusively announced here, online at groupleisure.com in August before the winner is revealed at the Group Leisure Awards dinner and ceremony at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel, NEC on Wednesday 19th September.
Who can nominate?
- Travel Trade suppliers can nominate a GTO they have worked with.
- A fellow GTO can also nominate another organiser they think deserves the award.
- Group travel organisers can put themselves forward.
- Finally, nominations can be received by group members.
Please note: this award is for an independent group travel organiser and not for someone working professionally for a travel trade supplier (tour operator, tourist board, etc). If you wish to recognise someone for their servcie to GTOs, please go to the page for The Excellence Award.
