Group Leisure is partnering with visitBlackpool and inviting group travel organisers to take part in an amazing action-packed and fun-filled familiarisation visit, which will take in much of the resort's recent developments including:
- Comedy Carpet: take a stroll where every step brings a new giggle. Blackpool's Comedy Carpet sits in the shadow of the world famous Blackpool Tower - and it's one of the largest pieces of public art ever commissioned in the UK.
- Blackpool Zoo: this multi award-winning zoo has seen the introduction of new features such as its active oceans area and new children's farm, both of which give an interactive learning experience to all ages.
- Nickelodeon Land: a six-acre family section of Pleasure Beach Resort, with new rides and attractions themed around favourites such as Sponge Bob Square Pants, Dora the Explorer and Rugrats.
Plus, the Merlin Entertainments group is now the operator of The Blackpool Tower, one of the country's most recognisable landmarks. Its newly created Blackpool Tower Eye 4D experience and Skywalk are a must after sampling a traditional afternoon tea served in the captivating surroundings of the Tower Ballroom.
Merlin has also revamped Blackpool's waxworks. That means Blackpool is now the only place in the UK outside London where your group can come face-to-face with brilliant likenesses of all your favourite stars of sport, stage and screen at Madame Tussauds.
Sandcastle Waterpark, the UK's largest indoor waterpark has added another two slides onto its list of attractions, thanks to a £2.5 million investment and a constant 84 degrees ensure it's a perfect place to relax, whatever the weather.
Whatever your groups interests and ages, we are sure you will find something to suit them during your visit. The teams from visitBlackpool and Group Leisure will be on-hand during your visit to ensure you have an enjoyable time and answer any questions you may have along the way.
