UK Tourism Deserves a Boost

As I’m sure every other group travel organiser is, I am in massive support of the pressure being put upon the government to cut the VAT on UK holidays and visitor attractions.
I understand that tax on holidays in the UK is considerably higher than in all major European destinations, and as a group with mobility issues that only ever travel domestically, this would make a huge difference to us financially. Not to mention increase inbound tourism!
Britain has such a lot to offer us natives and those visiting from overseas, and this long-term measure would no doubt boost tourism above and beyond what the cut would mean to the government in the short-term.
